We'll be making trillium bowls, a three sided bowl made by folding and darting a flat slab of clay into a three dimensional form. This fabrication technique of folding has similarities to tailoring and origami, and I hope you like it!
When: Sunday, February 8
Where: Site Specific, 466 Bell St
Price: $100 per person
Experience Level: all levels
Ages: this activity is for adults (16+)
(looking for kid's events? check out our friends at community clay works!)
Snacks: You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.
Accessibility note: our space has no stairs for entry, and be aware the class is taught at a counter-height table with backless stools.
After the workshop, I will dry, bisque fire, glaze, and refire your work, and it will be ready for pickup 3-4 weeks later. Hope you'll join us, and feel free to share this with friends - it's first come, first serve for tickets. All tools, materials, and firing included.
